Terms of use

Access is available to educators whose school holds a current Math Mini-Lessons license and who sign in with the school email address on the school’s roster. Students do not use the platform. By signing in you agree to these terms on your own behalf; your school’s agreement covers its obligations.

Sign-in links and authenticator codes are personal. Do not share them or let anyone else use your session. Administrators must enrol a second authentication factor. Tell your school leader promptly if you believe your account has been used by someone else.

Lessons, handouts, assessments, videos and other curriculum materials are the property of Math Mini-Lessons and are licensed, not sold, to your school for the grades and academic years in its license. You may use them for instruction at the licensed school. You may not copy them for use outside the licensed school, redistribute or resell them, remove attribution, or use automated tools to download them in bulk. Material access is logged and unusual volume is blocked.

Do not attempt to access records of another school or district, probe or bypass security controls, upload information you are not authorized to share, or submit data about students beyond what your school has agreed to provide. Student information that a school uploads is handled as the privacy notice and the district’s data privacy agreement describe. Educators are responsible for uploading only the fields the platform asks for and for keeping exported reports within their school’s own policies.

We aim to keep the platform available during the school day and will announce planned maintenance in advance where we can. We may change or retire features; material changes that affect a licensed school are communicated to the school before they take effect.

A school leader or district administrator may suspend or remove an educator’s access at any time. Access ends when the school’s license ends. Math Mini-Lessons may suspend access that violates these terms and will inform the school when it does so.

The platform is provided as described in the school’s agreement. To the extent permitted by law, Math Mini-Lessons is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
